Paper Concentrator
A type of pulp thickening equipment in the paper industry. The simplest is the rotary screen thickener. A net cage covered with steel net is placed in a wooden net trough. The slurry enters the mesh tank. Due to the rotation of the rotary screen and the water level difference between the inside and outside of the rotary screen, the thinner slurry passes through the copper mesh to remove water and become a higher concentration slurry. The net cage is pressed with a pressure shaft covering the surface of rubber or wool, which can bring the net surface slurry up, and scrape it off by a scraper, which is called a scraper thickener. If the vacuum mercury suction method is used to make the net cage create a vacuum, the efficiency of pulp concentration can be further improved, and it is called a vacuum concentrator.
